THE KREWE OF NANDI COULD NOT BE ANY MORE EXCITED FOR THE 2026 CARNIVAL SEASON. WE WILL BE FOLLOWING THE WESTBANK MARDI GRAS PARADE ROUTE!!!!
The Krewe of Nandi’s Parade will kick off the 2026 Carnival season Wednesday, February 11th, 2026 at 6:00 PM
The Krewe of Nandi is more than just a parade, our main goal is to give back to our community. Dozens of marching units (bands, dancers, etc.) make up the Krewe of Nandi parade. Prized throws you can catch during our parade include custom decorated Nandi Teacups, a wide variety of assorted krewe trinkets and special beads.
1. The Krewe of Nandi parade will start at the intersection of Bergeron and Lapalco. The parade will follow the traditional Westbank Mardi Gras Parade Route.
2. The Krewe will proceed down Lapalco Blvd towards Ames Blvd and then turn left towards Ames Blvd.
3. The Krewe will turn left on Ames Blvd and will continue heading towards the Westbank Expressway.
4. At the intersection of Ames Blvd and Westbank Expressway the parade turns right, onto Westbank Expressway.
5. The parade will travel down the Westbank Expressway then makes a U-turn at Avenue K and moves west on the lower Westbank Expressway.
6.The parade will end at the intersection of Westbank Expressway and Garden Road.
